Tanzanite is said to help people to deal with the stress and pressure of every day life, allowing them to lead happier and lives. Indeed, Tanzanite is said to aid the flow of positivity throughout the mind, as well as stemming it of negativity.
Tanzanite also helps one to become less demanding, and obtrusive, whilst ensuring that one is not taken for granted. With the overall belief being that Tanzanite will bring both good tidings and riches to its bearer.
To some Conservative thinkers, such beliefs may appear little more than a set of peculiar beliefs, or even a clever aid to help push the sale of this beautiful gem. In reality, however the properties and lore of Tanzanite as a stone of healing, holds its root deep in ancient cultures and practices notably, India, China and Thailand, which use the stone as a part of both Litho-therapy and Crystal Healing respectively.
Litho-therapy, which stems from the Greek meaning of 'Stone' is a practice of healing which uses minerals to rebalance and provide harmony and equilibrium to the bodies internal energy flow (Chi). Indeed, such a belief and practice has been used in almost every culture that has ever existed notably the Chinese, Greek, Egyptian, and Mesopotamians cultures.
